Well, I just did Thing 4 Flickr. The only "problem was that I had not set up a yahoo account during thing 1 so had to do that now. I just uploaded some book covers that I had already saved so that was no big deal. Ireally need to explore uploading from my Mac at home. I have many photos saved there.

I'm done chugging along for today. I will need to investigate more about adding friends, was nice to see Terry Beck. I tried looking for my son so as to check up on him but it looks he's restricted.

Thing#2 RSS

Hello again, I've decided to create my RSS feeds in Google Reader because I already had set up a new gmail account as part of getting started. The feeds that I have now set are were pre-packaged at the Google Reader site. I'll keep looking for interesting items to add. By the way, it was really easy

Am still navigating a little bit. Tried changing the layout/colors and decided I liked what I had.

Now my question is why I can't post from the blog by clicking on "post" in the upper right hand corner.

OK. Now getting started again. With help from 2 other go-to people, Karen and Beth, both were very patient with me. The trick was to go to blogger.com first and then sign in. Not go to "thedogsear.blogger.com. I'm learning.

Thing # 1 Blogs

Sorry I missed doing this entry first. It has worked pretty well so far, taking longer than what I thought it would as I spent too much time looking at other blogs from librarians. Also, I should have printed out the instructions from Lynn first, rather than going back and forth.
